Wearable design

2018 - Design school Kolding- BA Industrial & accessories design

The purpose of this course was to give the students insight into wearable design for thereby enabling the student to develop a wearable design concept. The task was to gain insight and understanding of the concept of Wearable design and develop a wearable concept that could be placed and worn on the body. A wearable product was in this project defined as the interaction between the human body and an object. The task was to locate, understand and define the spaces on the human body where solid and flexible forms can be placed without limiting the human movement. The wearable concept that was developed should give the human body a new function and extend the users possibilities. The concept could either give the body a new function by filling in a missing body function or give the body super powers by adding a new function.

2017 - Design school kolding- BA Industrial & accessories design

The purpose of this course was to give the students insight into wearable design for thereby enabling the student to develop a wearable design concept. The students had t make a wearable on the basis of the concept of seduction. The object could either be proactive or have the function to score, impress, hunt, capture, tease, arouse curiosity or excite a partner - or it could be defensive and protect the wearer from various seduction methods. The seduction act should take place in a scenario, which the students themselves had to formulate. It could be antiquated, contemporary, future, silent, violent, realistic, utopian life marked or adventurous. The Act could have the character of a courtship dance, a silent flirt, intense sexual interaction, a meeting between strangers, an assault, a realization of a longing. The tension in the seduction could have a hetero bi-, or homosexual or queer starting point, or it could be freely formulated as a tension between fictive characters.

Team work project

2016 - Design school kolding- MA Industrial design

In this project the students had to develop their skills in working in teams. The main concept was that each student was leading a team consisting of him- or herself and two carefully selected fellow students for a three-week period. During these three weeks, the team supported the leading student in realizing a project he or she had always wanted to do. This happened three times, giving each student a chance to run a team and a dream project. The first was spent on creating and selecting project pitches and defining personal skills for the three team selection processes.
